Coats for kids helps Big Brothers and Big Sisters
A popular clothing store for teens is offering a discount on new coats in exchange for a gently-used winter coat which will be distributed to vulnerable kids.
West 49 at Coquitlam Centre has kicked off the ninth year of its Coat for Kids campaign to collect 16,000 coats nationally for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
Families that bring in clean, insulated, gently used winter coats will receive $25 off the purchase of a new coat.
