New fitness studio opens in Port Moody

Younique, a new fitness studio, has just opened on Clarke Street in Port Moody, offering a broad range of classes from Zumba, Bellyfit, Pilates to Rise N Stretch.

Younique was created by two of the TriCities leading fitness motivators Krista Langtry and Melanie Montgomery. With a wealth of experience and a string of qualifications including BCRPA Group Fitness between them, the team have been running their own fitness classes for some time.

They aim to help all those who attend their classes not just feel good, look good and get fit in the process but find a balance in life and be successful.

“We’re really excited to be opening Younique in 2012. How you feel changes the way you look at everything! Getting fit and feeling great is just part of what we’re offering…when you take part in our classes you’ll feel alive and empowered!” Langtry stated in a press release.

The Younique studio offers a spa-like feel to nurture everyday wellness and a designated, safe space for children to have fun during classes. Child minding is available during all morning classes (excluding Saturdays), as well as during Younique Rise N’ Stretch on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and BellyFit on Thursdays at 1 p.m.
