Coquitlam moving company gets tips and Grey Cup visit
A Coquitlam business got a lesson in teamwork and leadership from someone with experience — Geroy Simon.
The receiver who plays for the Grey Cup-winning BC Lions visited Williams Moving & Storage to give a motivational speech to the staff. He also brought the Grey Cup with him.
Jim Williams who knows Simon invited the football player to help celebrate the company's renovated offices at 2401 United Boulevard.
Son Zach Williams said Simon talked about the importance of being a team player, and making sacrifices. He also touched on leadership and said it doesn't always have to come from the top.
Williams Moving and Storage has been operating in Coquitlam for more than 30 years.
