Nominate best Tri-Cities business
Nominations are now open for the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce's Business Excellence Awards, honouring the Tri-Cities' best businesses, individuals and not-for-profits.
This year there are six categories with three additional awards being added. There are now three Business of the Year awards — the small business category for companies with 1 to 9 employees, an award for businesses with 10 to 50 employees and another for companies with more than 50 employees.
Also new is a Community Spirit Award, added to honour an individual or business with outstanding community spirit.
Nominations are open until Friday, Sept. 7. In addition, a nominees luncheon announcing the award finalists will be held Oct. 25. The winners will be revealed at the annual awards Gala on Jan. 26.
