Firing seminar in Coquitlam generates interest
The whys and wherefores of hiring and firing people is the topic next week during a Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce 101 Seminar.
Angela Podgorska, an associate at McQuarrie Hunter LLP, will talk about how to navigate the often challenging and complicated area of terminating employees — what to watch out for and how best to avoid liability.
This seminar is so popular that it's being moved to a larger venue: the Fraser Room of the City of Coquitlam Innovation Centre (downstairs from the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce office).
The date is still Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 8-9:30 p.m.
The cost is free to members and $20 to non members. Space is limited to register early here
