Board members sought for Children of the Street

The Coquitlam-based Children of the Street Society is seeking new board members.

The society is a provincial society and federal charity dedicated to increasing education and awareness in order to prevent the sexual exploitation of children and youth while also offering support to families since 1995.

It is looking for people who are interested in volunteering for the society’s board of directors. Currently, there are two vacancies and Children of the Street seeking to diversify its board; individuals interested in the role of treasurer are encouraged to come forward.

If you are interested in learning more about the society and possibly volunteering for the board, contact Diane Sowden, executive director, at 604-777-7510 or childrenofthestreet@telus.net.
