Riverside's Rapid Change hosts fundraising fashion show

A group of students at Riverside secondary school called Rapid Change is hosting its annual fashion show on March 7.

WELL-Dressed runs from 7 to 8 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at the Port Coquitlam school and 100% of the proceeds will go towards Rapid Change’s goal of building a clean water system in India with Free the Children. Previously, the group helped build a school.

The event is open to the public and its motto is “You’re hotter when you raise for water.”

The event sponsors are Me to We, West 49, Old Navy, Black and Lee, Free the Children and Gleneagle secondary school’s hair academy. As well, local musical talents will perform. Dress code is “dress to impress.”

Tickets can be bought at Riverside secondary, 2215 Reeve St., PoCo, or you can call Laura at 604-831-7419. Tickets cost $8 each by March 3, $10 from March 4 to 7 and $12 at the door.
