Shred documents in PoCo on Sept. 15
You can protect your privacy and help a local non-profit group this weekend.
Vancity’s Tri-City Branches, Urban Impact Recycling and the Tri-City Transitions Society are partnering in a fundraiser to promote privacy and identity theft avoidance.
The Shredathon takes place in the parking lot of Vancity’s Port Coquitlam branch at Shaughnessy Station (corner of Shaughnessy Street and Lougheed Highway) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members of the public and businesses are invited to bring sensitive private documents to be shredded on site and recycled.
Shredding is free but donations will be collected in support of Tri-City Transitions.
As well, Coquit-lam RCMP officers will be on hand to provide information about crime prevention.
