Drop-in fun for youth at Coquitlam rec centres
Coquitlam’s Summit community centre is offering a variety of drop-in sessions for youth on Friday evenings.
Drop-in programs are open to all kids between the ages of 11 and 14 years and cost $2 per participant. Basketball drop-in runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and soccer from 8 to 10 p.m.
As well, for older youths (up to 18 years), Pinetree community centre offers badminton and basketball drop-in (cost: $4.10) as well as soccer drop in for a toonie on Friday nights.
Limited space is available. Youth are asked to bring Go-card ID.
No registration necessary. Summit community centre is located in Summit middle school, 1450 Parkway Blvd., Coquitlam. For more information, call 604-927-6960.
