People 50+ can Zumba at Dogwood Pavilion
Zumba, a popular form of exercise that fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves, is coming to Coquitlam’s Dogwood Pavilion starting next week.
Starting Nov. 6, people 50 and older can exercise every Tuesday and Thursday until Dec. 13 from 5 to 6 p.m. This drop-in program, designed for the older adult, will feature routines that include interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt while burning fat.
Admission to this drop-in program will be by non-perishable food item to support the local food bank.
For more information on this program, call 604-927-6098. Dogwood Pavilion, a Coquitlam recreation centre for people 50 years of age and older, is located at 624 Poirier St., with the entrance off of Winslow Avenue.
