Holiday activities for kids in Coquitlam

Coquitlam is hosting several holiday activities in December, including:

• Christmas Adven-ture for pre-schoolers, an afternoon of games, crafts and cheer at Pinetree community centre, runs from 2 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 8.

• For children six to 11 years, Summit community centre (at Summit middle school) is offering its Christmas Extravaganza on Dec. 14 and 21. These evening events include themed gym activities, gift making and pizza.

• Ten- to 13-year-olds can also check out gingerbread house making and movie night at Summit community centre on Dec. 20.
