What's in a name, Coquitlam school district asks
The funding has been sorted out, a suitable design to fit the steep slope has been finalized, water hook-up and other issues have been resolved.
Now, the hard work for the $33-million middle school in Anmore begins: coming up with a name.
School District 43 is seeking input on a name for the new building under construction in Anmore, just north of Heritage Woods secondary. It's asking people to make submissions to the board office at 550 Poirier St., Coquitlam c/o Ivano Cecchini, or by email to iceccini@sd43.bc.ca.
The deadline for name suggestions is 4 p.m. March 21. The school is scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.
