• Minnekhada Park Association is a group of local volunteers who work in partnership with Metro Vancouver Parks to preserve and enhance the natural environment of Minnekhada Regional Park. The group runs a bear aware program to educate visitors about appropriate behaviour when encountering bears in the park and organizes work days to support nest box program, and to enhance the park’s historical features.
