Scholarships for PdA students
Nine PdA students recently won scholarships for their performing or visual arts talent.
Violinist Russell Kim, 14, earned the scholarship for advanced musical studies while pianist Stefan Nazarevich, 15, took the Elliot Harty piano prize.
The Coquitlam-Maillardville Heritage Trust Award went to dancer Madeleine Teasell, 13; saxophonist Dante St. Prix, 14, clinched the Leonore Peyton Memorial Award and Joy Kim, 16, won the William H. Sclater Memorial Award.
PdA scholarships also went to pianists Robin Chan, 16, Iris Hung, 15, and Matthew Yep, 13; and ballerina Jeannine Haller, 15.
