Writing lesson from an author

Author Ben Nuttall-Smith will lead a writing workshop for aspiring scribes at the Port Moody Public Library this week.

Nuttall-Smith will conduct the session on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. after the Tri-Cities’ chapter of the Federation of BC Writers holds its inaugural meeting.

SINGERS WANTED

A Port Coquitlam-based women’s choral group will host an open house tomorrow (Thursday) in an effort to recruit new members.

The Felice Women’s Choir will host its event on Feb. 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Gathering Place (1100-2253 Leigh Sq., behind PoCo city hall).
