Russian masters

Place des Arts’ faculty concert series will continue on Saturday with violinist and teacher Karina Slupski performing the works of three Russian Romantic masters.

Slupski will be accompanied by Port Moody pianist Anna Levy, who also instructs at Place des Arts, and cellist Benjamin Goheen for Tchaikovsky’s Trio in A-Minor, Glière’s Opus 39 and Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise.

The Feb. 23 recital starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets at $15/$13 can be bought by calling 604-664-1636, online at www.placedesarts.ca or at the door (1120 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam).
