Theatrix is putting on Mary Poppins at a Port Coquitlam high school this month.

 

Mary Poppins is the latest tale to be told by the Coquitlam-based Theatrix Youtheatre Society.

The musical runs Saturday, July 25 at 1 and 7 p.m. at Riverside secondary school (2215 Reeve St., Port Coquitlam) and includes a cast of 45 ranging in age from five to 19.

ARTISTS’ SOCIAL
Improv artist Graham Myers of Port Coquitlam’s Second Storey Theatre will host a social for artists Thursday night.

A MIDSUMMER
Coquitlam native Carly June Friesen stars as Hermia — with Boris Bilic as Puck and Heather English as Peaseblossom — in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

A production by Alchemy Theatre and Vagabond Players, the play also includes Nina Dosdall of the Tri-Cities.
