Young thespians aged 10 to 17 are invited to audition for the new Coquitlam Youth Theatre, run out of Place des Arts for the 2017-'18 season.
The try-outs will be held May 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Brunette Avenue facility for a chance to be in the company that will focus on dance and movement, voice and vocal skills, and acting and character development.
Public shows will be held in January (Gale: The Yellow Bricks of Oz and the Giant Peach, JR) and in June (Our Town and The Little Mermaid, JR).
The successful actors will be taught by faculty members Erika Babins, Christi Lowis, Tim Perez and Natasha Sengotta.
