An associate professor at Emily Carr University of Art + Design will be at the Evergreen Cultural Centre next week to launch a book about his solo show at the Coquitlam gallery.

Ben Reeves’ exhibit, Floating among Phantoms, which is at Evergreen until June 30, is the subject of a new illustrated colour catalogue that includes a curatorial message by Katherine Dennis, Evergreen’s visual arts manager.

The publication also includes an essay by painter M.E. Sparks as well as an interview with Reeves, by curator Daina Augaitis.

Reeves will speak about his artwork at the book launch, which runs on Wednesday, June 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the gallery (1205 Pinetree Way).
