B.C. Premier Christy Clark made a surprise appearance at the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Christmas luncheon Thursday at the Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club.

The BC Liberal leader met with local entrepreneurs and politicians and spoke about the importance of friends and family during the holiday season.

Clark was expected to spend some time yesterday in the Tri-Cities, where she once served as an MLA.

She was scheduled to pack food hampers later in the day at the Share food bank and met the Vancouver Whitecaps’ latest team member, Lee Young-Pyo, earlier in the day at a Korean market on North Road.
