A 56-year-old Port Coquitlam man who went missing earlier this week has been found dead on Burke Mountain.

Hikers discovered the body Wednesday behind the gun range on Coquitlam's Burke Mountain and police do not suspect foul play.

Search and rescue crews, the RCMP's emergency response team and the fire department were invovled in the search.

The man had been missing since Monday.
