Rhian Piprell, director of Coquitlam Public Library, gets ready for the City Centre branch's move next week.

The branch located in the ground floor of Coquitlam city hall will close on Monday, Oct. 22 to relocate to a new $9-million facility — three times the size of the current branch — a block south on Pinetree Way, next to Henderson Centre.

Tt is scheduled to open on Nov. 13, with an official launch celebration planned for Nov. 24.

In the meantime, patrons can return their materials at the city hall book drop box or at the Poirier Street library branch.

Borrowers who have requested items can also collect them at Poirier.
