Coquitlam Mounties seek patient who left psychiatric hospital
Mounties are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man who walked away from the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital at Colony Farm in Coquitlam.
According to a Coquitlam RCMP press release, Charles Albert Hansen was reported as an unauthorized absence from the hospital on Nov. 22. He is now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large.
Hansen is described as: a 60-year-old Caucasian, 5'6'' tall, weighting 144 lb.; he is thin and is balding, with grey hair. He was last seen wearing a blue winter jacket, green and white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and white runners.
If you see Hansen, police advise you not to approach him but to immediately call the RCMP at 604-945-1550 or 911.
