Coquitlam RCMP seeks missing Colony Farm patient
The Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating Kurt Derksen, a 58-year-old patient at Colony Farm Forensic Psychiatric Hospital that went missing Wednesday afternoon.
Derksen was out on a day pass visiting his brother in Richmond when he disappeared at between noon and 2:30 p.m. He is wanted on a Canada wide warrant for being unlawfully at large.
Derksen is described as a Caucasian male, 5'9" and weights 201 lbs. He has short brown hair and blue eyes, a full beard as is possibly wearing glasses.
Anyone who seeks the man should not approach him and immediately call 911.
