Missed the garbage pick-up last week?

You're not alone.

A printing error in the city of Coquitlam's collection schedule for Jan. 2 to 5 left many homeowners with piles of post-Christmas trash.

As a result of the calendar misprint, the municipality is allowing residents to place four — instead of the usual two — cans of garbage out on their regular collection day next week.

For more information, call Smithrite at 604-529-4011 or the city public works hotline at 604-927-3500.
