Fake Carol Todd Twitter profiles get the boot

Efforts to out fake Facebook and Twitter profiles have paid off for Carol Todd and her supporters.

The mother of Port Coquitlam teen Amanda Todd, who committed suicide last fall after online bullying and stalking from a cyber-predator, has been successful in having the fake social media accounts removed from cyberspace.

Todd had to verify her identification with Twitter after making her complaint but in doing so, had two Twitter accounts impersonating her removed.

The impostor Facebook account was also taken down.
