UPDATE: Missing 16-year-old has been found

Coquitlam RCMP are reporting the 16-year-old who was reported missing on Tuesday afternoon has been located.

Jayda Ali, 16, was reported missing after she failed to return home from school on Jan. 15. She has no previous history of running away and has always returned home from school on time.

Police did not say where she had been found or if she simply returned home.
