Mounties are seeking the public's assistance in identifying two people believed to have been involved in a mailbox break-in at an apartment in Coquitlam last month.

On November 23, a male and a female were caught on surveillance cameras in the lobby of a building in the 500 block of Smith Avenue. Investigators believe the man used a screwdriver to break into the mailboxes while the woman acted as a lookout.

It is not known exactly what was stolen and police are hoping that members of the public will be able to identify the pair caught on surveillance footage.

Anyone with any information regarding this case is asked to call the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2013-34538. Those who wish to provide information anonymously can do so by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or can go online to www.solvecrime.ca.
