Coqutlam firefighters responded to a structural fire on Aberdeen Avenue this morning. The road has also been closed, Coquitlam RCMP report.

An industrial street off of Barnet Highway in Coquitlam is closed this morning to allow firefighters to tackle a structure fire.

Coquitlam RCMP are asking drivers to stay away from Aberdeen Avenue which is closed due to a fire in the 2700 block.

Cpl. Jamie Chung said police were called out to do traffic control in the area at 10:20 this morning.
