Three arrested in Abbotsford after police follow stolen vehicle

Abbotsford police arrested three suspects after they were found in a stolen vehicle on Friday night.

Acting Sgt. Pete Quagila said that the vehicle had been followed out of Coquitlam by the Air One police helicopter.

The vehicle was followed until the suspects eventually barricaded themselves in a home on Mayfair Avenue.

Police found seven people in the home, but only three were needed for the investigation.

With the assistance of police dogs, the crime reduction unit and emergency response team, the suspects were taken into custody.

No one was harmed.
