Coquitlam RCMP are searching for Shane Metcalfe, who was reported as an unauthorized absence from the Forensic Psychiatric Institute onWednesday, July 29.

Metcalfe is described as a 44-year-old Caucasian man with short, light brown hair that is unkempt and green eyes. He is 5'7" tall and 195 pounds, and was last seen wearing a pale collared T-shirt, black shorts and black running shoes.

Anyone who sees Metcalfe is advised not to approach him, but to report the sighting immediately by calling 911. If you have information as to his whereabouts, contact Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2014-21173.
