Coquitlam street closed to flooding
Schoolhouse Street in Coquitlam was closed Monday from Lucille Starr Drive to Lougheed Highway due to flooding.
The low-lying area was swamped with water after unusually warm temperatures hovering around 10 degrees Celsius melted snow that accumulated Saturday and Sunday across Metro Vancouver.
Crews are busy clearing catch basins across the city to lessen other flood risks.
Rain and warm temperatures are forecasted for the next couple of days with sunshine expected Thursday and Friday.
