An office trailer at a Port Coquitlam business was destroyed Friday after a fire broke out next to an electric heater.

The fire started at about 12:50 p.m. at a property on Langan Avenue, according to Shamila Jabari, who said she's the owner's wife.

The warehouse complex was untouched but the trailer office outside was torched.

"Everything's gone: documents, computer — full office is burned," said Jabari.

Patrick Curley, acting deputy chief of PoCo Fire Rescue, said investigators hadn't yet determined the cause of the fire.

Shortly after fire trucks had arrived, firefighters were called to respond to another active fire on Lobb Avenue where someone was reportedly injured.
