Five suspects believed to have rung up thousands in fake credit card purchases

A group of two women and three men are suspected of using fraudulent credit cards to purchase tens of thousands of dollars of merchandise at several businesses, according to Coquitlam RCMP. The transactions occurred between May 4 and July 2.

Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying five suspects who allegedly made several fraudulent credit card transactions including this woman, who has a tattoo of a spider web on her shoulder and a pair of scissors on her calf.

A group of two women and three men are suspected of using fraudulent credit cards to purchase tens of thousands of dollars of merchandise at several businesses, according to Coquitlam RCMP.

The transactions occurred between May 4 and July 2. Coquitlam RCMP's Economic Crime Section began their investigation on July 22 and have been able to pinpoint the five suspects.

It's believed three of the suspects worked together to make the allegedly fraudulent transactions. Investigators obtained still images from video surveillance at the businesses and are now asking for the public's help to identify them.

The first is described as a woman in her late 20s to early 30s with a slim build and long blond hair.

The second is a woman about 30 years old with bleached blond hair and two tattoos, one of a spider web on her right shoulder and scissors on her right calf.

The third suspect is a man with darker skin and an average build.

The fourth is a Caucasian man with an average build and short dark hair.

A fifth suspect is described as a bald Caucasian man with an average build and wearing glasses.
