Port Coquitlam residents wanting to learn more about city hall now have the latest facts at their fingertips.

This week, the city released its 2015 annual report — a statutory document set to be endorsed by city council on June 27 — that looks at last year's highlights such as replacement plans for the PoCo recreation complex, federal funding for that facility as well as the Blakeburn Lagoons and Sun Valley parks, and the downtown fire.

The report, titled Working Smarter, also details the city's finances and statistical information.

The city's annual reports have received kudos from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada for the past decade.

To read the document, visit portcoquitlam.ca/annualreport. Comments or questions can be directed to city council until June 24 by contacting finance director Karen Grommada at 604-927-5305 or emailing [email protected].
