The Lougheed Highway ramp onto the Mary Hill bypass in Port Coquitlam is expected to be open by tonight, the city's engineering director said.
Kristen Meersman told The Tri-City News that crews will be filling in the large hole to allow commuters to travel on the ramp.
A scheduled closure will happen next week to determine the cause of the water main break, which happened at around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
It is not known how much water was lost over the five-hour period it was leaking; however, the pressure was strong enough to disintegrate the road, Meersman said.
