A Vancouver man has been charged after a stabbing last week in Port Moody.
Police were called to a Gatensbury Street home at about 5 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 and found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to hospital in stable condition and has since been released.
Const. Angela Fisher said the victim and accused are known to each other and although investigators are still determining what precipitated the early-morning incident, it appears to be an "innocuous event that seemingly escalated."
Devin Icoz, 21, has been charged with aggravated assault and will appear in court next on Nov. 7 in Port Coquitlam.
