PoCo field is all wet
The Editor,
I am writing this letter to express my disappointment in the inability of the powers that be to fix the artificial turf field at Gates Park in Port Coquitlam. It has been three years now and still the field floods at the first sight of rain.
PoCo taxpayers have paid a lot of money into local government to see this field built for the use of athletes young and old – especially for use in wet weather – but come the typical fall downpours, it is the first field to be shut down by the municipality.
Instead of partaking in finger-pointing, I would just finally like to see the field fixed so that all can use it no matter the weather.
