When the land for Eagle Ridge Hospital was acquired, it was with the understanding that the extra land would be for expansion, which we need now.
Port Moody and the Tri-Cities are growing but just because people want to live here doesn’t mean they have to.
Eagle Ridge Hospital needs to be expanded and the property should not be sold to make way for highrises and low-cost housing. The more people you bring in, the larger the hospital needs to be.
Fraser Health and the city of Port Moody, leave the Eagle Ridge Hospital land alone.
