The Editor,
I trust that the city of Coquitlam will be fining itself $500 per infraction as a result of my green bin, along with those of all of my neighbours sitting at the curbside for more than 24 hours without being emptied.
And this after we all received letters from the city in November stating there has been an active bear in our area and threatening us with a fine if we don’t comply to bylaws, and on the same day that the conservation officer warned that bears are not hibernating and to lock up our garbage.
Or is this a case of do as I say, not as I do?
