Nine Tri-City bantam lacrosse players helped power California’s Cali-Lax Allstars to win the King of the Northwest tournament at the Comcast Arena in Everett, Wash., last week.

Port Moody’s Alex Dozzi, Cole McMillan and Ryan Smith all made the trip down Interstate 5, while Coquitlam’s Jaylen Chaster, Mac Geldart, Robert Hofseth, Lucas Infanti, Thomas Semple and Jordy Taylor also joined the club.

The Calilax squad was undefeated throughout the tourney, posting wins over the Denver Elite and the Washington Jr. Stealth in the bantam division round robin.

In the finals, Calilax once again took on the Jr. Stealth, a club the Tri-City players were able to defeat 11-1 to take home the championship.
