BC Cancer Foundation canvassers will soon be knocking on doors seeking monthly donations and have advice for anyone opening their door.
The foundation said the canvassers will be wearing ID badges and BC Cancer Foundation teal-coloured vests for security and safety purposes. They will be asking residents to join the organization’s monthly giving program. The foundation emphasizes the canvassers will not accept cash or one-time gifts at the door.
People who sign up for the monthly gift program will receive a confirmation email immediately. The donations will go toward supporting research at BC Cancer.
