A workshop on Tuesday, March 26 at Dogwood Pavilion in Coquitlam will demonstrate how to operate an automatic external defibrillator, many of which are in public places in the city.

A free demonstration workshop on how to use the defibrillators that have been installed in many public places will be held at Coquitlam’s Dogwood Pavilion on Tuesday.

The portable device diagnoses cardiac arrhythmias and allows the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm. The workshop will be held at the pavilion at 1655 Winslow Ave., from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required and can be done by calling 604-627-4386 or at any of Coquitlam’s recreation facilities.
