Financial abuse workshop at Dogwood

Will show seniors how to spot it and protect themselves

A financial abuse workshop focusing on seniors will be put on at the Dogwood Pavilion in Coquitlam on Sept. 18.
The workshop will highlight forms of financial abuse through power of attorney, joint bank accounts and representation agreements. Seniors First BC will show older adults how they can protect their finances and recognize and respond to financial abuse of themselves and their friends.
The free workshop will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. noon. For more information or to register call 604-927-4386 or go to or drop in to the pavilion at 1655 Winslow Ave.
