Port Coquitlam has put out another call for volunteers for the PoCo Grand Prix cycling races on Friday, July 12.

The city said it has about 200 positions available in several areas particularly for traffic control (3 to 7:30 p.m. and 7 to 10:30 p.m.), kids races (3:15 to 7 p.m.), the kids zone (2 to 4:30 p.m., 4 to 8 p.m.), and take down of the course and signage (9:30 to 11:30 p.m.).

Volunteers (age 15 and older) can apply through the City of Port Coquitlam’s online registration at www.pocograndprix.ca/volunteer where more information is also available. Any questions can be sent to volunteer@portcoquitlam.ca.

There is also a need for families to host cyclists throughout BC Superweek, which means providing a place to sleep or shower and a safe storage place from July 5 to 14. Email info@pocograndprix.ca if interested.

More information, including signing up for the kids races, can be found at www.pocograndprix.ca.
