The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) is warning of more public exposures to COVID-19 on flights into or out of Vancouver International Airport.

The exposures occurred on both domestic and international flights.

The affected flights are:

  • July 10: Delta 3569 from Vancouver to Seattle (affected rows not reported)
  • July 11: American Airlines 1415 from Dallas to Vancouver (affected rows not reported)
  • July 12: Air Canada 214 from Vancouver to Calgary (rows 25-31)
  • July 17: Air Canada 855 from London to Vancouver (rows 26-32)

The BCCDC says that passengers who were seated in the affected rows are considered to be at “higher risk” of exposure to the virus, due to their proximity to a confirmed case.

The BCCDC does not directly contact people who were on the affected flights.

Anyone arriving in Canada from international travel is required to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days upon their arrival.

A full list of public exposure alerts for flights can be found on the BCCDC's website
