A Canadian bluegrass band that was nominated for a Juno award last year will play Coquitlam’s Evergreen Cultural Centre next week.

The Slocan Ramblers are at the venue for a March 26 show at 8 p.m as part of their western Canada tour that ends in Vancouver.

Made up of Frank Evans (banjo), Adrian Gross (mandolin), Darryl Poulsen (guitar) and Alastair Whitehead (bass), the quartet will play tunes from its latest album, Queen City Jubilee, which was on the 2019 Juno shortlist for Traditional Roots Album of the Year.
