Most and least expensive homes sold in Burnaby in March and April

In the past two months, the cheapest Burnaby apartment sold was $389,000, while the most expensive detached home was $4.17 million.

The local real estate market is picking up, though it’s not at the highs of spring 2021.

Over the last two months, home sales have been increasing. From February’s total of 276 homes sold, March saw 318 homes sold (a 15 per cent increase from the month before), and April had 423 homes sales (a 53 per cent increase since February), according to stats from Zealty.ca.

The median sold price in April was $885,000, the highest it’s been since April last year. The median price is a 10.6 per cent jump since March.

A range of places were sold over March and April, from a $389,000 one-bedroom condo in Simon Fraser Hills, to a $4.17-million seven-bedroom detached home in Deer Lake.
