Vancouver Coastal Health is opening a new COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Richmond.

Another COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be opening in Richmond.

The new, appointment-only clinic at Cambie secondary at 4151 Jacombs Road near Cambie Road, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on “various dates” between May 20 to June 5, Vancouver Coastal Health announced Tuesday.

Appointments are booked through B.C.’s Get Vaccinated system, and the vaccines offered at the clinic will be either Pfizer or Moderna.

The Cambie clinic is the third vaccine clinic in Richmond. The other clinics are at the show theatre at the River Rock Casino and Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Currently, anyone aged 18 and older (born in 2003 or earlier) is now eligible to book an appointment, as are those who are 16 and older (born 2005 and earlier) who are extremely clinically vulnerable or pregnant.

The Cambie secondary clinic is accessible and onsite help is available if needed, according to VCH.
