Gleneagle won the game 50-33, with Anne Yolland being awarded the player of the game.

The tournament attracted 20 teams from as far away as Penticton. Local teams included Centennial, Heritage Woods, Charles Best,  and Terry Fox secondary schools, as well as the hosts, Gleneagle.

In boys’ play, Brentwood College defeated Bishop O’Byrne 71-70 to win the Kodiak Klassic at Heritage Woods secondary school. The hosts finished seventh in the 16-team tournament after they beat St. George’s on Saturday, 73-59.

Meanwhile, the Dr. Charles Best Blue Devils finished third at the Westview Tip-Off tournament in Maple Ridge. They defeated Archbishop Carney 100-64 on Saturday after losing to Seycove 83-77 in Friday’s semi-final. Arsham Mahmoudi led the Devils with 32 points in their placement game, while Grayson Parkins scored 30 and was named to the tournament’s all-star team.
